The Caribbean Institute for Entrepreneurial Development is a division of The Timely Entrepreneur Resource and Research Centre.

CIED is a registered Entrepreneurial training institution, operating in Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, Barbados, Guyana, Suriname, St. Kitts, Antigua, Grenada and Jamaica with its main headquarters in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. We are centrally located at Ramsingh’s Plaza, 20 Southern Main Road, Edinburgh, Chaguanas, Building 2 obliquely opposite Massy’s Mid Centre Mall entrance.

The Caribbean Institute for Entrepreneurial Development (CIED) aims to “Connect the Dots and Bridge the Gaps in Entrepreneurship through Knowledge” – Entrepreneurship Education, Research and Resources and Practical Entrepreneurial Development Programmes. We equip Entrepreneurs and aspirants with the practical elements for Business Startup, Growth and Sustainability.

At present, we offer a number of Entrepreneur Short Courses, Certificate Programmes and Diploma Programmes. Our Associate Degree Programmes will commence in January 2024.​

CIED Facilitators, Presenters, Lecturers and Mentors, collectively have more than 50 years’ experience in all areas of business with specializations in Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Customer Service, Economics, Risk Analysis, Psychology, Sales, Marketing and Business Management – BA (Hons). Our team of eminent individuals comprises of all Entrepreneurs who have walked the Entrepreneurial journey which makes them highly qualified in their field within the industry. Their expertise, qualifications, skills and competence are married with their desire for learning and being driven by their passion for building the Entrepreneurial Eco-System, they conscientiously ensure that each Entrepreneur or aspirant who is hell-bent on succeeding in business, is knowledgeably nurtured.
